Foodies and fans of poha, we've got some news for you, to save you from a great hassle! Your beloved 'Jeerawan', the spice that makes everything a wee bit more delicious is now in the list of prohibited items to carry in hand baggage on flights.

In prohibited items showcase kept at the airport to inform people about things they cannot carry on the flight, recently Jeerawan was found next to items like knives, scissors, pistols and hammers. So, next time you're travelling with Jeerawan, make sure to put it in your check-in baggage in case you don't wanna miss out on the enhanced flavours of poha and other items, you like to enjoy with this popular masala.

The decision to ban Jeerawan spice on flights has been taken by the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) and the addition has been made in the new safety norms issued by the bureau. A multitude of passengers were shocked to find the harmless spices sitting next to weapons.
