In a bid to provide better learning opportunities for students in the agriculture sector, a dedicated B.Sc. (Agriculture) course has been introduced at Indore's Holkar Science College. This initiative follows a directive from the MP Higher Education Department, instructing a total of 18 colleges across the state to introduce agriculture-related undergraduate courses.

Admissions open via college level counselling mode

Holkar Science College has opened admissions for the B.Sc. Agriculture course through the College Level Counselling (CLC) mode. Students can directly visit the college to apply. Admissions will remain open until July 13, and a total of 50 seats are available for the Agriculture course. Admission will be based on merit following the CLC round.

Recognising the importance of agriculture as a major livelihood source in India, the MP Government is actively promoting agricultural education opportunities for youth. As part of these efforts, the government will introduce the B.Sc. Agriculture course in 18 additional autonomous colleges across the state, starting from the 2024 academic session.
