Student exchange and research initiatives can prove to be advantageous for tech institutes in collaborating and sharing knowledge, resources and ideas. This paves the way for innovations and advancements in respective fields at an educational level.

With this in mind, two of Indore's top tech institutes, namely, Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology (RRCAT) and IIT Indore, signed an MoU to foster student-led research initiatives in the field of advanced sciences and technology.

More about the collaborative effort

The MoU was signed earlier this Friday by IIT Indore director Dr. Suhas S. Joshi and Dr. Shankar V. Nakhe, director RRCAT, in the presence of several other faculty members from both institutes.

The partnership between both institutes will facilitate PhD students, post-doctoral fellows, B Tech/M Tech/M Sc students of IIT Indore to pursue research/projects at RRCAT in the advanced areas of mutual interest.

Additionally, both parties will collaborate to offer post-graduate and certificate courses in scientific and engineering fields.
