IRCAD India and SAIMS collaborate for world-class surgical training in Indore

IRCAD India, the first centre of excellence in the country devoted to training, research & development in minimally invasive surgery, was inaugurated on November 24, in Indore. The institute was inaugurated in collab with the Sri Aurobindo Institute of Medical Sciences (SAIMS).

Touted to become the largest animal and cadaver lab in the SAARC region

IRCAD India will feature a whopping 42 hi-tech stations boasting technological capabilities in robotics, 3D, and 4K. With such capabilities, this centre of excellence in India will provide advanced training to surgeons from across the globe.

It is noteworthy that this is the 7th IRCAD Institute in the world. Furthermore, SAIMS and IRCAD India will now collaborate to share expertise in a variety of fields including Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Augmented Reality (AR).

In addition to that, students at SAIMS will be able to receive world-classes surgical training from IRCAD.
