Knocksense Short | BCCI releases Indian home season schedule; Indore, Mumbai to host matches

Mumbai will host 2 matches while a single match will be organized at Indore's Holkar Stadium during India’s home season starting from January 3, 2023.

India's most-awaited home cricket season is going to kick off on January 3, 2023. According to the latest schedule released by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), multiple matches of various formats including T20I, ODI and Test cricket are to be played in different cities of India between January 3 and March 22, 2023.

India will play a series of matches against teams such as Sri Lanka, New Zealand and Australia. Of these, 2 matches will be organized in Mumbai one of which is the first match of India's home season. On the other hand, Indore's Holkar Stadium will host the 3rd one-day international (ODI) match between IND and NZ on January 24.

  • 1st T20I IND vs SL - Jan 3, Mumbai (Wankhede Stadium)

  • 3rd ODI IND vs NZ - Jan 24, Indore (Holkar Stadium)

  • 1st ODI IND vs AU - March 17, Mumbai (YTA)
