As per new reports, a convention centre in Indore with a capacity of 10,000 will soon come up. A green signal for this project was given in a recent Indore Development Authority (IDA) board meeting.

After inspecting five to six places, scheme no. 172 of the Super Corridor was selected for the new convention centre. It will be built on an area of 10 hectares, while 7 hectares (total 17 hectares) of land will be kept vacant for future use.

Indore is already home to the Brilliant Convention Centre. However, the place was unable to host the entire audience that reached for Pravasi Bharatiya Sammelan. This new, enormous centre with increased holding area will prove to be highly beneficial for Indore in hosting future conferences.
