The Dhar-based Sagar International College (SIC) was recently derecognized by the Department of Higher Education (DHE).

In the wake of the Department of Higher Education's move to derecognize Dhar-based Sagar International College (SIC) in Indore, the Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) has now decided to provide marksheets to SIC's final year LLB and B.Com students.

For this, DAVV will be conducting a special exam for the students after which they will be able to receive their marksheets, sanctioned by the university itself. Furthermore, DAVV has also received instructions from DHE to shift SIC’s students to other colleges.

Indore's Sagar International College, which was affiliated with DAVV, had submitted a fake copy of a recognition letter from the Bar Council of India (BCI) for its law courses to the Department of Higher Education. The institute was denounced for continuing operations and was disaffiliated by DAVV after DHE received an individual complaint regarding the forgery.
