The inauguration of the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya has now prompted the Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC) to initiate a cleanliness drive in Indore temples. Kicked off on Jan 14 and scheduled to conclude on Jan 22, the campaign involves IMC workers and volunteers cleaning temple premises, disposing of waste and planting trees near the temple sites.

The objective is to foster a clean and hygienic environment in these religious spaces. Indore, known as the 'Cleanest City,' sees this initiative as an opportunity to reinforce the significance of cleanliness among its citizens.
