Madhya Pradesh bagged a total of eight awards in different categories.

Raising the bar in terms of work done towards better civil management and inclusive development, Indore bagged the National Tourism Award 2018-19. The cleanest city received the award for best civic management in the tourism destination category. The award was conferred during a function held in New Delhi on Tuesday. 

Meanwhile, Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar International Airport received the Best Airport in the Rest of India category award for the third year in a row. Besides this, Ujjain, a popular destination among pilgrimage tourists, received the 'Swachh Paryatan Sthan (clean tourism place)-Western Region' award. In total, Madhya Pradesh bagged eight awards in different categories.
