Knocksense Shorts | Indore to host two Ranji Trophy cricket matches in January 2023

The 2022-23 season of the Ranji Trophy tournament has already commenced on December 13, 2022 and will be concluded on Feb 20, 2023.

The Ranji Trophy tournament, which is the yearly domestic first-class cricket championship of India, commenced on December 13, 2022. Constituting a total of 135 matches which are currently under progress, the championship will finally conclude on February 20, 2023.

Reportedly, a total of 32 teams have been split into four groups during the course of the tournament i.e. Elite A, Elite B, Elite C and Elite D squads. Two teams from each group will proceed to the knockouts which will then be followed by quarter-finals, semi-finals, and final matches.

With this, two of the matches of the Ranji Trophy tournament are also to be held in Indore and they are as follows.

  • January 3, 2023 - Madhya Pradesh v Vidarbha (Elite D)

  • January 10, 2023: Gujarat v Madhya Pradesh (Elite D)
