Knocksense Shorts | Inspection underway on new Ujjain-Dewas-Indore track today

Doubling work on Ujjain-Dewas-Indore section of Western Railway Ratlam Division between Barlai and Lakshmi Bai Nagar was completed on December 23. Now, the Commissioner Railway Safety (CRS) of Western Railway, R. K. Sharma will conduct an inspection and speed trial of the track between 9:00 am to 9:00 pm today. During this examination, the capacity of the doubling work will be scrutinised by running an inspection vehicle at the speed of 120 kmph. As per official update, CRS will check bridges, culverts, approaches as well as speed between intermediate stations.

In view of the inspection, the railway administration has also requested the general public to stay clear of railway lines to avoid an accident. Further, to not to let their pets near tracks and to be cautious around the track while speed trial.
