For smoother movement of the army vehicles and traffic, Dr Ambedkar Nagar, also known as Military Headquarters Of War (Mhow), will soon get a railway overbridge, developed by the Public Works Department.

According to the officials, there were huge traffic jams every time a train passed along the tracks since the crossing lane for the vehicles was very small. Hence, the construction of this overbridge was a necessity.

According to the officials, the bridge will be around 7.5 metres wide and 765.5 metres long, divided into two lanes and three metres wide footpath on both sides. The construction of the over bridge at Mhow near Cantonment Entry Tax Plaza will cost approximately Rs 18.36 Crores.
