The Mhow-Kalakund heritage train is equipped with two state-of-the-art AC Vistadome coaches as well as three General coaches

After staying out of operation for almost three months, the first heritage train in the Madhya Pradesh, the Mhow-Kalakund heritage train will start its operation in the first week of July. As per the reports, tourists will be able to make reservations from the first week of July itself. As of now, the coach and power car of this train has been sent to the depot for maintenance.

The heritage train is equipped with two state-of-the-art AC Vistadome coaches as well as three General coaches. The fare for the Vistadome coaches has been kept at ₹265 for a one-way trip. While the fare for non-A/C coaches is ₹20. Reportedly, the train is expected to follow the old running schedule.

Mhow-Kalakund Heritage train schedule:

  • From: Dr. BR Ambedkar Railway Station at 11:05

  • To: Kalakund at 13:25

Note: The train will only run on Wednesdays
