With a motive to provide additional commute services to the devotees, the Ujjain district administration is now planning to run e-buses from Indore, Bhopal and Omkareshwar. These intracity e-buses will transport devotees coming to the temple city of Ujjain.

Additionally, it is anticipated that 50 e-buses will be deployed on 10 routes within the state. In Indore, the airport, railway station, and interstate bus terminus (ISBT) will serve as pickup points. The e-bus service is scheduled to commence in approximately one month.

By introducing this initiative, the authorities in MP are not only simplifying transportation for devotees but also enhancing the overall transportation infrastructure through the use of eco-friendly electric buses. This aligns with India's goal of achieving net zero emissions.
