Born in Madhya Pradesh’s Dewas, Rohini Kalam won a bronze medal in the 48 kg Adult Jiu-Jitsu Fighting Female category at the Thailand Open Grand Prix 2022 World Ranking Jiu-Jitsu tournament. The tournament was organized by the Jiu-Jitsu International Federation from June 16th to 20th in Bangkok, Thailand.

The 6-member Indian team won a total of three medals, one silver and two bronze medals. Other than Rohini, Kundan Solanki of Indore won a bronze medal in the 56-kilogram Adult Jiu-Jitsu Fighting Male category while Mohd. Ilyaz from Hyderabad won a silver medal in the 85-kilogram Adult Jiu-Jitsu Fighting Male category at the tournament.
