Indore's COVID tally has reached six for the month of December, with three new cases reported in the last 24 hours. Of the three, two women and a man, two are residents of Vijay Nagar while one woman had returned from Kolkata. The patients complained of symptoms like cold, cough and fever before being tested positive.

As per the Health Ministry, India has crossed 4,000 COVID-19 cases with the addition of some 412 fresh ones. JN.1, the new mutation, has been termed as a 'variant of interest' by World Health Organisation (WHO). Most patients infected with the sub-variant are in home isolation at the moment.
