The Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association (MPCA) has confirmed that the upcoming T20 cricket match between India and Afghanistan will take place at Indore's Holkar Stadium. This night match is scheduled for January 14, 2024.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) had earlier planned to shift this match in the new stadium nearing completion at Gwalior. However, following an inspection by BCCI last week, the Gwalior venue was found to be unready to host an international match as early as January. MPCA President Abhilash Khandekar further stated that the Gwalior stadium still has ongoing civil construction work, plantations and ground work to be completed. This process would take another few months, before the ground would be fit for hosting international matches.

The Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association (MPCA) announced the ticket prices and sale details for the T20 night match on Wednesday. The sale of tickets will commence on December 30, starting at 6 AM. As of now, highest ticket cost in South Pavilion is ₹5,947 for first floor, followed by ₹5,576 for second floor and ₹4,956 for the lower area. For more information MPCA office website here.
