A new toll will be set up by the Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation Limited (MPRDC) on the Indore-Depalpur road for Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs). Toll booths will be set up in Budhaniya village which lies on the 30 km long road that starts from Pitra Parvat. M/S Maa Sharda Crusher Mines has been allotted the tender to operate the toll booth. The toll is being set up under the state government’s User Fee Scheme.

Toll money to go towards the development of the road

LCVs will be charged ₹45, trucks will be charged ₹105 while multi-axel vehicles will have to pay ₹210 for a single journey. Since personal vehicles will not be charged, the record of these vehicles registered with the RTO will be updated. This way operators will be able to identify the FASTag stickers on personal vehicles.

Currently, the Indore-Depalpur road is a two-lane road. MPRDC officials inform that the money collected from these new toll booths will go towards the maintenance and development of the highway.
