New Vande Bharat Express between Indore and Bhopal flagged off

After the successful inauguration of Vande Bharat Express in various parts of the country, the Indian Railway Ministry has launched five more semi-high-speed trains on June 27 across India!

The Vande Bharat Express were introduced today on the following routes — Rani Kamalapati to Jabalpur, Khajuraho-Bhopal-Indore, Madgaon Goa- Mumbai, Dharwad-Bengaluru, and Hatia-Patna.

Vande Bharat Express on Indore-Bhopal route

Bhopal-Indore Vande Bharat Express will house 8 coaches equipped with sliding doors, comfortable chairs, and various amenities for entertainment. A pantry service will also be available for meals and refreshments.

Vande Bharat Express no. 20912 from Bhopal to Indore:

  • Departure Time: 1925 hrs

  • Arrival Time: 2231 hrs

  • Ticket Price: AC chair ₹910 (inclusive of ₹242 catering charges), and Executive chair car ticket will cost ₹1,600. (inclusive of ₹264 catering charges)

Vande Bharat Express no. 20911 from Indore to Bhopal:

  • Departure Time: 0630 hrs

  • Arrival Time: 0955 hrs

  • Ticket Price: AC chair ₹810 (inclusive of ₹142 catering charges), and Executive chair car ticket will cost ₹1510. (inclusive of ₹175 catering charges)

The Bhopal-Indore Vande Bharat Express is Madhya Pradesh’s 3rd Vande Bharat express covering a distance of 246 km and is expected to reduce the travel time between the two cities to three hours. On their journey, the trains will make a scheduled halt at Ujjain junction.
