School timings in Indore changed amid recent rise in cases of heatstroke

The order to change the timings was issued by the District Collector on Sunday, April 23.

In view of the constantly rising mercury and the threat of heat stroke, Indore District Collector Ilayaraja T has issued an order to change the school timings in Indore. According to the new order, all schools in the district will have to operate from 7 AM to 12:30 PM.

New timings to be observed for Nursery to Class 12th

The order, which was issued on Sunday, is applicable on all schools in the district including government, non-government, govt-aided, unaided and those that come under MPBSE. Furthermore, the changed timings for schools in Indore are to be observed for all classes, right from nursery to class 12th.

All the work related to exams and the evaluation going on in Indore schools will be allowed to go on as per the decided schedule. It is noteworthy that there has been a recent increase in cases of heatstroke in Indore, especially among children.
