Working professionals will now be able to enroll themselves in all new logistics skill training programmes at the Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV). This could help them professionally and provide great boosts in their fields.

DAVV Indore previously signed two memoranda of agreement (MoA) with the Logistics Sector Skill Council (LSC), Chennai to establish the Centre of Excellence in Logistics (CEL) in the university. The centre has finally been set up and will initiate education programs with embedded training at the institute.

Which programmes are about to be offered?

DAVV has geared up to kick off a postgraduate program in M.Sc (Data Science and Logistics) at CEL during the 2022-23 session.

Moreover, two certificate programs of Consignment Booking Assistant and Documentation Assistant (310 hrs. each) will also be conducted this year in the institute. Apart from the aforementioned programs, the centre might start additional short-term programs if required by the suggestion and help of LSC.

Furthermore, it is being said that the CEL will produce a skilled workforce with industry-oriented skills, knowledge and attitude. This could be beneficial in employing skilled professionals for the upcoming multi-modal logistics hub near Betma.
