Jaipur's Mridul Agarwal creates history by scoring the highest-ever percentile in JEE Advanced!

Reportedly, more than 30 students from Jaipur have qualified the Joint Engineering Exam this year.

Jaipur's 18-year-old Mridul Agarwal, who appeared for the Joint Entrance Examination Advanced (JEE) Advanced from the IIT Delhi zone, is the all-India topper this year. Bringing laurels to the Pink City, Mridul has created a history by getting 96%, the highest-ever percentile in the examination. Moreover, over 30 students from the city have qualified for this entrance examination this year.

By scoring 348 marks out of 360, Mridul broke the existing record of 2020's topper. According to the AIR 1 rank holder, the main reason behind his success is the support of his parents. After achieving his aim of clearing this entrance test, his next goal is to join the Bachelors in Technology- Computer Science Engineering (CSE) at IIT Bombay. Citing his future plans, the young boy stated that he wishes to migrate to United States for his masters like his role model Sundar Pichai.

He was chosen for the OCSC IJSO Camp in class 9th and the OCSC Physics Camp in classes 11th and 12th. He was also chosen for the OCSC Astronomy Camp in class 12th, with IOQP, IOQC, IOQA, and IOQM. The topper obtained 98.2 percent in 10th grade and 98.66% in 12th.
