With the ever-increasing number of flyers to and from a city, airports are becoming more than just hubs for getting on to your flight. They are now more like commercial areas with stores, where people can luxuriously wait for their next flight. Now, these conveniences are being taken to the next level here in Jaipur, with new medical care centres in the airport.

From now, passengers can get free medical care right here in the airport itself; in case of an emergency, this will be extremely beneficial. Additionally, it will also provide some relief to passengers who are under the weather.

What's the update?

Starting now, passengers flying from Jaipur airport will be eligible for free medical care. The airport authorities signed an undertaking with a private medical firm. Owing to this, there will be clinics in the airport itself. For passengers in need of care and attention, this is quite a lifesaver.

For the rest of the passengers, the 24x7 clinic at the airport will certainly be quite a benefit. Here, you can get a complete checkup of all major as well as minor ailments. In case of an emergency, it's going to be the need of the hour.

Since more than 20,000 people are taking flights to and from the city on a regular basis, the risk of diseases is higher. So keeping that in mind, the clinic now provides an immediate medical option in case of an emergency. At the clinic, there will also be an ambulance, that can immediately take a critical patient to a proper hospital for treatment.

At the airport, the hospital will provide a free consultation, emergency treatment, ambulance and basic investigation services for the Airports Authority, Central Reserve Police Force, airlines' staff and family members.

Knock Knock

Jaipur airport has been consistently developing quite well. Over the past few months, the airport has undergone some major changes in its functionality and passenger convenience. The medical clinic is just another step in the right direction and it will certainly make for safer air travels.
