Knocksense Shorts | E-Rides for general public on the Delhi-Jaipur NHEV to start this month

The Tech Trial Run-II (TTR-II) on the 278-km Delhi-Jaipur National Highway for EV (NHEV) that started on September 9 is offering the general public to be a part of this trial run. Reportedly, the trial run will continue till October 9, making the E-rides available on selected dates, i.e, September 16, 23, 30 and October 7.

People can opt for one-way and round trips as per their requirements. The bookings will only be available from Delhi every Friday during the trial run and from Jaipur, only in case of a round trip every Saturday. Right now, a total of 25 E-buses and over 100 E-taxis will ply on the route under the trial run.

For bookings, the desired passengers will have to register through a form available on the NHEV official website. Further, the booking details will be shared on the e-mail. As of now, the booking confirmation will not be 100% as the service works on a first come first serve basis. Reportedly, the booking fare will only be confirmed once the seats are allotted.
