Citizens of Rajasthan experienced unruly weather conditions on Thursday. Jaipur, Udaipur, Kota and some parts of Jodhpur received moderate downpour.

Poogal in Bikaner, surrounded by the Thar Desert, received average rainfall of 90 mm, highest in the state.

After being battered by overnight rainfall, Jaipur saw minimum temperature of 25.8 °C during the early hours accompanied by lightning and heavy storms. This led to power cuts across the city.

However, Jaipur saw a rise in temperature during afternoons approaching 36.0 °C, followed by no rainfall and scattered clouds across the city.
