Keeping the onset of winters in mind, the Rajasthan Health Department has revised Outpatient Department (OPD) timings for all government-run medical facilities, including the affiliated and satellite hospitals in the state. The move is aimed at making routine or emergency checkups convenient for patients.

Reportedly, OPD in all the govt-run hospitals, primary health centres (PHCs) and community health centres (CHCs) is now slated to operate from 9 AM to 3 PM. The new timings will come into effect from October 1. Apart from this, OPD will run for two hours, between 9-11 AM, on holidays. The same will be followed till March 31 next year.
