Rajasthan Housing Board (RHB) has taken up the major project to revamp the Ganga Marg that connects Indira Gandhi Nagar and Jagatpura with NH-21 and also the upcoming Ring Road. They are running the revamp drive to cater to the inhabitants of Indira Gandhi Nagar Extension in Jaipur, along with some other housing projects in Siroli. The said road is considered as one of the most prominently used roads in South Jaipur.

What else is coming as part of the project

As part of the initiative, the 5KMs stretch from Jagatpura CBI Gate to Khatipura Flyover will be extended to be a six lane road. A beautiful green track will be added parallel to the railway line for people to jog/walk. The administration is ensuring that not a single tree is taken down for the project. RHB will carry out this project in Indira Gandhi Nagar at an approximate cost of ₹4.8 lakhs.

RHB planned to revamp this road as it serves as an important passage to South Jaipur and secondly, the road connects to the satellite township of Bassi and further to Agra Road and Ring Road.
