Our radar for interesting places is always active and on such an occasion, we chanced upon a themed restaurant here at Swaroop Nagar, which arrested our attention like no other!

India’s first purely vegetarian restro-bar, which can accommodate around 300 people, Barracks, is a prison themed restaurant with a sprawling lounge where you can shake a leg too. There is a live-console and a kick-ass playlist which further pushes this place to the top of our go-to spots’ list and their nosh options appeals immensely to the crowds!

Going with the theme, the waiters are all dressed in a prisoner’s uniform and the prompt service here actually impressed our impatient selves! If you’re thinking of a family dinner you can just drop by and relish a hearty meal or if it’s a weekend, come over and party with your squad.

This versatile chill space actually serves to all and their nosh options have us hooked! Also known for the delicious cocktails, if your’re here at Barracks, don’t skip out on trying their Garlic Naan, Dal Makhani, Golgappa Shots, Honey Chilli Potatoes and the Vegetable Sizzler with Beans is hands down our favourite choice from the lot!

You can even book this place for gatherings, so if there’s any special day coming up and you’re looking for a space which would excite the invitees, look no further!
