CSJMU Kanpur rolls out a new digital portal to tackle student grievances

Muskaan Tekwani

The Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University (CSJMU) in Kanpur on Saturday introduced an all-new ‘faceless’ student service portal. Virtually unveiled by Governor Anandiben Patel from Raj Bhawan on Saturday, the new system aims to tackle student grievances, such as mistakes in the mark sheet and other documents via an online link. The model has been reportedly prepared by the project monitoring unit of the CSJMU in Kanpur that will allow students to track their progress from the comfort of their homes.

Easy, automatic & rapid!

Moving up the ladder, Kanpur university's new faceless portal aims to build a direct link between the pupil body and the administration. This channel will help them to easily get their varsity-related concerns addressed and resolved, without having to shuttle through various departments and multiple applications.

As per the reports, this easy-to-use app will enable students to access their university documents, such as mark sheets, degree certificates, and provisional and migration certificates with digital signatures. If there is an error in any of the documents, it can be directly addressed via the new system and students can download the corrected version available on the dashboard.

As per the governor, this is a big step towards creating a student-friendly environment and promoting their participation in university activities. It will also help the CSJMU empower their students and increase their grades in the NAAC evaluation.
