Development blueprint ready for New Kanpur City Project after 28 years

After a wait of around 28 years, the blueprint for the development of the New Kanpur City project has been prepared. According to the blueprint, the development work will be carried out in a phased manner. A detailed plan for the same will be submitted next week in front of the Vice President of Kanpur Development Authority (KDA).

Development to take place in an area of 153.21 hectares 

The project is expected to be developed in around a year. The New Kanpur City project will consist of schools, colleges, private hospitals, shopping malls, around 222 commercial plots, and 1350 residential plots. The land on which this project will come up covers villages of Singhpur Kachar, Sambharpur, Gangpur Chakpada, and Hindupur.

Furthermore, the land for this project will be purchased for around ₹300 crore, development work will be done at an estimated cost of ₹150 crore, and a total of ₹300 crore is expected to be passed for the development of the new township.
