Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IIT-K)’s Phase-1 placements, commenced from December 1, 2024. In just seven days, students secured 1,036 offers, of which 963 were accepted. As per reports, 22 students bagged international job offers. 

This year‘s standout recruiters include Deutsche Bank, ICICI Bank, Intel, Qualcomm, FedEx, Meesho, BPCL, Microsoft, Texas Instruments, Databricks, Google, American Express, NPCI, SLB, Micron and Reliance.

IIT Kanpur credited its Students’ Placement Office for expanding outreach to startups, strengthening ties with alumni and forging new recruiter relationships.

Professor Raju Kumar Gupta, Chairperson of the Students' Placement Office, highlighted the importance of diversifying opportunities and building connections in emerging sectors, calling this season’s progress a step forward for the institution.
