Kanpur Metro Update | UPMRC installs 100 U-girders on Baradevi-Naubasta elevated section

The development work on the Baradevi-Naubasta elevated section of the Kanpur Metro project is progressing rapidly. The Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation (UPMRC) is currently working on installing a total of 348 U-girders, which are being erected on the 5 km long stretch. As per the latest update, the authority has recently achieved a significant milestone, completing the installation of 100 U-girders on the route.

Notably, the Baradevi-Naubasta elevated corridor of the Kanpur Metro Project will host several key stations including Baradevi, Kidwai Nagar, Vasant Vihar, Baudh Nagar and Naubasta. Besides this, UPMRC is also working diligently on the tunnelling work of the Chunniganj-Nayanganj underground corridor of the Kanpur Metro to ensure the project's timely completion.
