As a significant milestone in the Kanpur Metro's construction, UPMRC has begun work on the Rawatpur underground station. This station is part of Corridor II, which will extend from Agriculture University to Barra-8.

Over the weekend, casting work began on the mid-slab beneath the concourse level at the Rawatpur station, which is being built using the top-down construction method.

Once completed, the four-level Rawatpur station will serve as a crucial interchange, facilitating seamless connectivity between Corridors 1 and 2, thereby improving overall passenger convenience and enhancing the metro network's efficiency.
