Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj University in Kanpur has found a place in the QS Asia University Rankings for the first time. In the overall rankings, Kanpur's CSMU has been named in the band between 801 and 850 while it has been ranked 263rd in South Asia.
In the QS Asia University Rankings 2025, IIT Delhi emerged as the top Indian performer by clinching the 44th rank. Furthermore, a total of 7 Indian institutions found a place in the top 100, which included 5 IITs.
