Coming as a sign of relief for people living in South Kanpur, the district health department has announced a plan to build a 100-bed multi-specialty hospital in the area. The move is aimed at providing necessary health and wellness services to the people living in South Kanpur and the nearby districts.

Reportedly, the proposed hospital will be built at an estimated cost of ₹60 crores. Equipped with all the modern amenities, the hospital will act as the only lifeline for the people. As per the official announcement, the Hospital that is being constructed in the Maurang Mandi area of Kanpur will be ready in the next two years.
