Knocksense Shorts | Full-fledged Kanpur metro North-South corridor to be ready by 2025

The Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation (UPMRC) is all set to roll out the North-South corridor of Kanpur Metro in 2024-25. The said corridor will be rolled out in a full fledged manner by 2025, catering to nearly 1.5 lakh commuters on a daily basis.

It is noteworthy that the North-South corridor of Kanpur Metro will have a total of 21 stations, going from IIT Kanpur to Naubasta. Out of these 21 stations on the corridor, fourteen will be elevated and seven will be underground stations.
