The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) recently issued a weather advisory for multiple states in India including Uttar Pradesh. The predicted changes in weather patterns are expected to cause rainfall, hailstorm and thunderstorm in various UP districts, including Kanpur.

In addition, the climatic alterations are further attributed to western disturbances, which have prompted the department to declare a yellow alert for the Kanpur region on March 30 and 31.
