The Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University (CSJMU) in Kanpur has achieved a significant milestone by securing the highest grade, A++, from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The state-run university, which previously held a B ranking, has made a remarkable leap to attain the topmost grading.

For assesment, NAAC conducted an on-site inspection at the campus from November 3 to 5. Following their evaluation, the authority conferred the grading, considering the well-maintained facilities and infrastructure on the campus.

Notably, CSJMU boasts well-equipped laboratories, and modern libraries, and embraces digital governance in its operations. With this A++ grading, CSJMU now stands alongside other esteemed government universities in the state, such as Lucknow University and Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University in Bareilly, which have also achieved the prestigious A++ grading.
