The tigress which was recently rescued from the Mailani range in the Dudhwa Buffer Zone will be shifted to the Kanpur Zoo. It was reported that the tigress had been tranquilized after it killed a 30-year-old man in Basukpur village.

After being tranquilized, the tigress was brought to the Mailani range headquarters and given a thorough medical check-up, and was found to be perfectly fit and healthy. Now, the big cat will be shifted to the Kanpur Zoo, which will become its new home.
