On Hindi Diwas, Kanpur Metro holds essay writing, calligraphy, among other competitions

On the occasion of Hindi Diwas, Kanpur metro officials organized a slew of competitions at the Depot office on Gurudev chauraha. These included creative writing, quiz, translation, essay, and speech competitions. The competitions were part of the 'Hindi Pakhwada', which will go on till September 29.

Kanpur Metro's Hindi Pakhwada will go on till September 29

Every year, Kanpur metro organizes this 15-day long Hindi Pakhwada to encourage usage of Hindi in the workplace and in the society in general. On Day 1, scores of people reached the venue to participate in these competitions.

These competitions will follow other such events, which will be held throughout the next 15 days to encourage people to embrace Hindi. Furthermore, the winners of the competitions held yesterday on Hindi Diwas will be announced at the end of the Hindi Pakhwada, on September 29.
