Road Safety World Series to kick off its second edition this month onwards

Sachin Tendulkar will lead the Indian team in the upcoming tournament.

The second season of the Road Safety World Series (RSWS) is all set to begin from September 10. The final venues of the matches have been also announced by the organizing committee. The opening match of the 22-day tournament will be held in Kanpur while other matches will be organized in Indore and Dehradun, followed by two semifinals and a final match scheduled in Raipur.

New entrants step up in the upcoming edition of the series

Apart from the teams including India, Australia, Sri Lanka, West Indies, South Africa, Bangladesh and England which took part in the previous edition of the tournament New Zealand will also be entering RSWS this year.

Road Safety World Series is an international T20 cricket league, which was first introduced back in 2020 and features former cricketers who have retired from the official forms of cricket. The series was introduced as cricket is the most impactful sport in the country and it had the capability to influence people regarding road safety.

Season 2 of RSWS will be held between September 10 to October 1. Former cricket legend, Sachin Tendulkar will be leading the defending champions, Indian Legends in the second edition.
