Moreover, The Association of Physicians of India (Kanpur Branch), with Rheumatology Foundation Lucknow and KPS PG Institute of Medicine, recently organised a conference on 'Rheumatology Update' at GSVM Medical College.

Herein, awareness around the disorder was spread and problems that arise from Arthritis were discussed at length. In addition to this, a workshop was also organised at Lala Lajpat Rai Chikitsalaya (Halat) on Saturday in the Department of Medicine where information around rheumatology was disseminated to young medicos.

Arthritis has been a problematic ordeal for a long time and is, fundamentally, the swelling/tenderness of the joints. It hampers the patient's day-to-day functions, with pain and stiffness as major symptoms.
