Lucknow is set to get a world-class attraction as the Uttar Pradesh government prepares to launch the first phase of the ₹1,510-crore Kukrail Night Safari and Adventure Park very soon. An initial ₹206.63 crore has been released to kickstart construction, with Phase 1 expected to be completed in 24 months.

Spanning 855 acres, the safari will feature 38 enclosures for lions, tigers, leopards, and exotic birds, along with a 7D theatre, art gallery, and tram service. The second phase will relocate Lucknow’s Hazratganj zoo to Kukrail under a PPP model, adding 63 more enclosures showcasing African giraffes, chimpanzees, and rare Indian species.

Designed with themes like 'African Savanna' and 'Incredible India', the park aims to recreate a natural jungle habitat while boosting tourism. Once complete, it will be North India’s largest night safari, offering a unique wildlife experience after sundown.
