Actor Gurmeet Choudhary to open COVID hospitals in Lucknow & Patna with "ultra modern" facilities

Gurmeet announced that he will be opening up hospitals in a tweet, on Sunday.

The benevolence of several COVID warriors is helping each one of us get through this swirling second wave of coronavirus infection and yet again, another name has found its place on the board of honour. Film and TV actor, Gurmeet Chowdhary, a COVID survivor himself, has been actively involved in creating treatment resources, such as donating plasma and arranging for oxygen needs and hospital beds. Venturing a step further, on Sunday, Gurmeet announced on his social media that he will be opening hospitals in Lucknow and Patna to help with the COVID outbreak in the country.

Actor Gurmeet Chowdhary took to Twitter on Sunday and announced, "I have decided I will be opening ultra-modern 1000 bed hospital in Patna and Lucknow for the common man. Followed by other cities. Need your blessings and Support. Jai Hind. Details will be shared soon. #CovidIndia #CovidHelp."

Besides this, the actor and his wife, Debina Bonnerjee who had tested COVID positive last year, also donated plasma recently. They are now encouraging their fans to rise up at the need of the hour and donate plasma to boost the infection recovery in critical patients and otherwise.

The actor has also constituted a special team and posted helpline and resource availability numbers on social media to reach out to the maximum number of people. People in need can easily get in touch with these handles, if they require any medicines or other supplies related to COVID.
