The long-standing traffic jams and congestion issues that have plagued Sitapur road due to the abundance of heavy vehicles will finally see some respite soon. This will be possible because contruction of the 4-lane flyover connecting Madiaon to IIM crossing is now complete and the flyover is ready for inauguration.

The project was started a year back by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) to streamline traffic on this route. The construction of 1.94 km long bridge has been completed 6 months ahead of the expected deadline.

Seamless commute on Madiaon-Bithauli trisection stretch

Once the flyover is open, commuters travelling from Madiaon to Sitapur will experience seamless travel, free from any congestion on the route. Additionally, the traffic flow from the Bithauli trisection to Jankipuram Extension will now be redirected through the underpass of the flyover.

NHAI has requested time from the UP government authorities for the official inauguration of the flyover. Furthermore, it is anticipated that the bridge will be inaugurated in the presence of UP CM, as well as other central ministers.
