Brace yourselves, heatwave warning issued as temperatures set to skyrocket to 41°C in Lucknow

Dry and hot winds predicted for the weekend.

After reaching temperatures of up to 39.6°C, Lucknow is bracing for further heat, with temperatures expected to rise to 41°C by Thursday, April 25. The State Meteorological Department issued a heatwave warning for East UP on Tuesday.

According to the weekly forecast, there's no relief in sight for Lucknow's weather, with no signs of cloudy skies or rain. Currently, the daytime temperature is 0.5°C above normal and is expected to exceed 1°C above normal. Dry and hot winds will continue to sweep through the capital throughout the week.
