The District Magistrate took to his Twitter on Monday to congratulate UP Metro for its increased ridership which has come in with just 14 days of service resumption. An estimate footfall of 12,784 passengers was recorded at the closing hour, 10 PM on September 21. These heightened numbers are a promise of fast and full recovery to the special vehicle transport system in Lucknow.

Early trial runs to ensure safety, pave way for increased ridership-

With frequent metro train trial runs and cleaning of the stations, the UP Metro's Operations and Maintenance teams initiated the 'Hai Taiyaar Hum' Campaign early in the month of June. Since then, the entire team has been coming with ideas to ensure safety and crowd control protocols to turn UP Metro into the finest benchmarking specimen of the rapid transport system in the country.

The UP Metro has emerged to be one of the safest and efficient means of transport in the city. The systematised and protocolled control of its rising passengers is a testimony to its stellar excellence and potential.
