Touted to be India's second largest of its kind, Uttar Pradesh's Ganga Expressway is all set to completed by December 2024. Currently, the goal is to finish the work on the expressway before Mahakumbh 2025. The expressway, which will span across 594 km, will enhance connectivity between Eastern and Western Uttar Pradesh.

Starting from Meerut's Bijauli to Judapur Dandu in Prayagraj, this new infrastructure development in the state will significantly slashing the travel time between East UP and West UP. Being called a 'Mahakumbh gift', this 8-lane expressway will enhance convenience for crores of devotees that will visit Prayagraj for the grand spiritual festival in January 2025.
