Probably for the first time ever, I’m addressing all Knocksense readers, pals, contributors, and supporters directly. In our nine-year journey, I never really felt the need to write something like this — our work, our stories, and our events always spoke for us.But something feels different this autumn of 2025.
But something feels different this autumn of 2025.You might wonder if something’s wrong. The answer — yes and no.
Since 2020, Knocksense has hosted events in Lucknow, Mumbai, Indore, Ahmedabad, and Kanpur — probably more events across India than most national companies have done in Lucknow. If we had a passport, it would be stamped with stories from every city we’ve touched. Yet tonight, something feels different. I can still feel the butterflies in my stomach and the excitement (and anxiety) of tomorrow keeping me awake — listening to Lucky Ali’s timeless tracks (Yes, we love this man.).
Maybe it’s because, deep down, I know this could be our last event for a while. It’s been almost nine months since the last one. And truth be told, this time, it wasn’t even my decision — it was the younger team at Knocksense who decided to take the plunge and bring La Flea Affair back.
Yes, we’re doing this after a long gap, but I still feel the same energy, warmth, and love from our readers and followers that has always driven us. I truly believe that together, we can make this Flea as memorable as the very first one.
This year has been especially tough — filled with restructuring, realignments, and learning to slow down. Personally, I feel we’re still a year away from a full comeback, maybe longer. But your love, your presence, and your continued support can make it happen sooner.
Some of you might look at our social media numbers and wonder what I’m really talking about. The truth is, Knocksense continues to stand for non-divisive, non-political content and believes that advertising should remain affordable for all. This stance comes at a cost. Even our event stall prices are among the lowest in the market, simply because we want more creators, more dreamers, and more small exhibitors to be part of our platform.
When we started La Flea Affair, our goal was simple — to give exhibitors and homegrown brands a space to showcase their products and passion. I’m proud that, in our 10th edition, that mission still drives every decision we make. Our team still works tirelessly to ensure that every good product and every deserving brand gets a stage.
This year, we’re bringing together 70+ amazing brands that you might never come across online — but once you discover them here, they might just find a permanent place in your homes and hearts.
To make it accessible to everyone, we’re doing a four-day Flea, with Day 1 (Thursday) being the most affordable — tickets priced at just ₹30 so that anyone can walk in and experience what we’ve built together.
As I said earlier, we might not host another event for a while. So, I hope you’ll come out in large numbers — not just to attend, but to stand with a Lucknow-born media company that has always believed in community, not just commerce.
