"The Uttar Pradesh government has planned to promote the perfume of Kannauj in the international market. The aim is to take the Rs 250 crore perfume business to Rs 25,000 crore," Navneet Sehgal, Additional Chief Secretary, MEME and export promotion, stated.

It is anticipated to be completed by November 15. In addition to this, the perfume business is also predicted to become smoother for traders.

Traders will be aided with the product development, marketing, branding, packaging, testing, and more. Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plant (CIMAP) will also contribute in promoting the perfume industry.
